A Prayer for Asian Americans:

-LADIES: Almighty God, our thanks and praise to You that You desire all people and all nations to be saved and to come to a knowledge of Your Truth.  We bring before You, humbly, the multitude of Asian Americans who have not yet attained the knowledge of Your salvation in Jesus Christ.  Lord, in Your Mercy -

-GENTLEMEN: Hear our Prayer.  O God, our hope and our trust is in You alone.  We ask You in Your mercy to send more laborers among Asian Americans so that more bridges may be laid into Asian American communities.  Grant us Your Holy Spirit in this day of opportunity that we, too, may seriously ponder Your claim upon us to be witnesses of Your Gospel, among them, as You continue to send people of Asian background to North American communities, even to our very neighborhoods themselves.  Empower us to support others as they establish ministry beachheads into Asian American communities and neighborhoods.

Lord, in Your Mercy -

-LADIES: Hear our Prayer.  We thank You for those already in service among Asian Americans.  Continue to endow them with love, understanding and patience so that they continue to recognize the privilege of their calling and to faithfully persevere in their various ministries.  Lord, in Your Mercy -

-GENTLEMEN: Hear our Prayer.  Where Your Word is faithfully proclaimed among Asian Americans, O God, open their hearts that they would perceive Your love which You have manifested in Jesus Christ.  As they pray for guidance upon the straight and narrow path, reveal unto them that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  When they are in distress from Satan, permit them rest and solace in Christ.  By His resurrection move them to feel and know Your compassion in the forgiveness of their sin and new life.  Lord, in Your Mercy -

-LADIES: Hear our Prayer.

-TOGETHER: Strengthen the faith of new converts.  Give courage to those who waver.  Comfort those who are persecuted.  Open the closed doors of Hindu, Muslim and Buddhist nations so that the message of Your Gospel may be freely proclaimed.  Break down the walls to Asian American peoples so that Your Message may be heard among them and Your name be glorified through all generations.  We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.-
