Easter Blessings to you in the name of Christ, our risen Savior! On behalf of our Asian missions in the field and everyone in the CAME network, I thank you for your wonderful support and prayers. And on behalf of CAME, I thank God for your faithful prayers, encouragement and financial support for CAME and Lutheran Asian Missions throughout North America and overseas, particularly during these challenging times.
As you may surmise, the economic climate continues to affect the work and ministries of CAME. Although we were already a lean operation, we have continued to take cost-cutting and other appropriate measures, to enable our continued outreach among Asian people groups to new Asian fields in Oklahoma, Illinois and Missouri. Enclosed is an envelope, welcoming your additional contribution. We ask for your continued faithfulness, particularly in these times of cost-cutting in denominations, grant programs and foundation gifts, which are affecting our mission and ministry among Asians.
